LIG Nex1 and Palantir sign MOU for collaboration on the development of an integrated air defense network and unmanned system solutions 2026.03.25

LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) and Palantir Technologies Inc., a leading AI software company in the U.S., have joined forces to advance the United Arab Emirates’ integrated defense system.
LIG Nex1 and Palantir announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding for collaboration on the development of integrated air defense and unmanned system solutions at Palantir’s Palo Alto, California office on March 24. CEO Shin Ick-hyun of LIG Nex1 and Ryan Taylor, Palantir’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Legal Officer (CL), were present at the signing ceremony.  
Through the MOU, the two companies intend to enhance their future battlefield R&D capabilities significantly by combining LIG Nex1’s technological expertise in system integration, including integrated defense systems from low to high altitudes and unmanned platforms for various missions, with Palantir’s trusted data solutions. 
 
LIG Nex1 and Palantir have cooperated in developing next-generation solutions by integrating their hardware and software since 2024. Their new MOU on integrated air defense and unmanned systems capable of rapid, accurate, and effective responses across diverse scenarios is expected to a play a major role in promoting the defense capacity of target export countries, including the UAE.
