LIG Nex1 and Zenoco sign MOU on satellite communications and aviation

LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) and Zenoco are stepping up exchange and collaborative efforts for business expansion in the areas of satellite communications and aviation.
LIG Nex1 signed a memorandum of understanding on satellite communications and aviation with Zenoco, a company specializing in aerospace businesses including avionics, satellite ground stations, and satellite payloads at its Second Pangyo House in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do on March 26. Attendants at the signing event included leading officials from the two companies, such as Moon Byung-ho, head of LIG Nex1 C5ISR Business Division and Yoo Tae-sam, CEO of Zenoco.
With the signing of the MOU, the two companies will develop specific collaborative plans to strengthen business capabilities through technological exchange and cooperation as well as joint implementation of technology development in satellite communications and aviation. They will also seek collaborative planning and proposals concerning defense research projects in connection with joint project implementation.
LIG Nex1 has improved its global competitive edge in satellite communications and aviation based on its diversified development capabilities regarding military satellite communication systems, geostationary satellites, low earth orbit ground stations, and satellite terminals. An official from LIG Nex1 said, “The partnership will generate synergy in advancing defense satellite communications and aviation based on LIG Nex1’s varied experiences in these areas and Zenoco’s technological competence.”
