LIG donates a development fund to the Korea Football Association for the Disabled

- Development fund donated by employees across LIG's major affiliates to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities
- Fund raised to support national team training, the development of specialized personnel, and nationwide competitions
The ceremonial presentation took place on April 17 at LIG’s headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and was attended by Choi Yong-jun, LIG Representative Director; Kim Ki-hwan, President of the Korea Football Association for the Disabled; Park Hyo-ik, Executive Vice President of KB Insurance.
The fund was raised through contributions from executives and employees across LIG's major affiliates, including LIG Defense & Aerospace, LIG System, LIG Huseco, and LIG Accuver. KB Insurance, which has participated in the initiative since 2022, also contributed an additional KRW 20 million, bringing the total donation to KRW 180 million.
The fund will support physical conditioning and training for Korea's national football teams representing athletes with visual, hearing, and intellectual impairments, as well as cerebral palsy. It will also support the development of professional personnel, and the operation of nationwide competitions.
LIG Representative Director Choi Yong-jun declared, “We hope that this fund will help our athletes train in a better environment and pursue their dreams on the field.” LIG intends to continuously engage in diverse social contribution activities to create lasting social value.
