Set to bring its reputation as a premier guided missile developer to Southeast Asia
Integrated multi-layered air defense solutions on display, including M-SAM II and L-SAM, to showcase advanced technological capabilities

LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) participates in Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from April 20 to 23. Organized by the Malaysian government as a biennial event, DSA is the region’s leading defense and security exposition with a history of nearly four decades since its inception in 1988. This marks LIG D&A's third participation in the event.

LIG D&A plans to showcase its integrated multi-layered air defense solutions—including the M-SAM II medium-range surface-to-air missile, K-SAAM surface-to-air missile, KP-SAM Chiron man-portable air defense system (MANPADS), and L-SAM long-range surface-to-air guided missile—to demonstrate its advanced air defense capabilities to Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries. The company will also exhibit its Raybolt anti-tank guided missile (ATGM); counter-battery radar, an indispensable asset in modern artillery counter-fire operations; and Korean GPS-Guided Bomb (KGGB) precision-guided air-to-surface weapon.

Malaysia has shown strong interest in acquiring advanced weapon systems as part of its national defense modernization strategy. Accordingly, LIG D&A plans to highlight how its advanced air defense technologies—led by the globally recognized M-SAM II—can contribute to enhancing Malaysia's defense capabilities and national security

“At this exhibition, we will focus on presenting the advanced technologies and world-class competitiveness that we have built over the years,” said Lee Hyun-soo, Head of Overseas Business at LIG D&A. “We will do our utmost to meet the growing global interest in ‘K-Defense’.”
